I found the best way to break in a new coil is to
install it, fill it and let it sit for at least
20min (or more if you can wait :)
This gives it plenty of time to soak in so you
don't start burning the coil out at the beginning.
Also always try and re-fill when your juice level
is just above the second last hole on the coil.
I haven't tried the 2-Ohm, the original 1.5's are
just fine for me - Cheers!
Hi I got a great tip from Brian from vape king. Before replacing your coil put a couple of drops of juice in every hole of your coil. This stops it from burning due to a dry vape. Wish I had enquired earlier. Would have saved throwing out heaps of coils. Best advice ever. Thanks Brian
I found I like the original 1.5 Ohm as the 2.0 reduces the throat hit and vape production by too much. But friends that found the 1.5 too harsh liked the 2.0. I recommend buying a couple of each if you're new to vaping.
Great coils but for a long time I had issues with the 1.5 coils burning. Simply solution..when you put the coil in for the first time, fill you e-cig tank with your liquid and suck on the tip for a second without pressing the fire button. Do this about 5 times then leave the e-cig for about 5 minutes then suck again without firing - then go for it - no burning. Works every-time so far for me :)
