Kanger Protank 3 MINI - Dual Coil Clearomizer

this is the first tank ive had (and ive tried about 20 different tanks over the last 2 years)that dosnt leak into the battery or into my mouth and also the first bottom coil tank that dosnt cover me in juice when i fill it. i changed the drip tip to a plastic one because i find the steel ones get to hot.
my only con is the amount of juice im going through which i think is more likely the battery then the tank

I started almost 2 years ago with different tanks and I have had always the problem of leakage, but with that I stopped my research, never a leak!

I bought for first the minipro tank II, and never replaced, after came out the mini III and bought 2 in one shot. (just for spare)
now is a year using the 3, never a problem, just it works!

best tank I have tried so far.. Very easy to use and no leakage.. My all day vapeing tank.. Highly reccomend

If you're a newbie, you need something self explanatory but also Hugh quality to keep your interest. This is the tank that delivers it all in a neat little package. I use it with the innokin itaste models and it's fabulous. Delivers good taste and it's quite comfortable.

I have this on my 1300mah Kgo and it works a treat.
I didn't like the coil that came with it so I use the EVOD coils in it and it's amazing the flavor, vape production is amazing.
One of the most comfortable tanks to draw off and the interchangeable drip tip is a great addition

this is the best clearomiser i've used so far. definitely a huge upgrade from the plastic clearomizers and standard ego kit stuff.

i get so much more flavour and clouds out of this. just hope that the coils last!

only downside is that you cant fill the tank right up because of the center air tube. i would've like to fit more juice in.

Nice straightforward easy to use clearo. I was looking for another option for use at work, and have not been disappointed with the little protank. When set up on a Spinner it ticks all the boxes with flavour and vape production, also a breeze to maintain and clean.

Most people buying the mini protank will be using it on a regulated battery, an inclusion of a 1.4Ω coil isn't ideal (the sweet spot is around 1.8Ω - 2.3Ω for most regulated batteries).

The base ring (the ring that holds the coil) really should have a knurled finish. With the current design it is very easy to unscrew the tank bottom rather than the base and this will release the glass tube. If you are topping up the tank rather than filling an empty tank and you are not careful you may end up scrambling to fit everything back together before you empty the remainder of the tank on what ever surface you were working over. I suspect the way the tank is assembled that the glass is under compression stress.

I'm not a big fan of metal drip tips I find they transmit heat from the tank body too easily, the included drip tip is very light and so heats up quickly (ofc it cools quickly too). Some of my ceramic tips don't fit into the drip tip well (the o-ring is not seated properly as the tip can't pushed down far enough). The drip tip well does a fair job of collecting some of the condensation before it fills the air path, but only if you think to mop it up periodically.

The dual coil is thirsty compared to similar resistance single coils. The coil unit and hence the entire clearomiser gets very warm quickly. The coil unit design is twin horizontal coils over a hollow air path, the coil unit forms the positive contact (centre pin) so being there is a slow drip of juice on the positive post on the battery / mod.
There is information available on rebuilding the coil unit (just in case of apocalypse) and it seems to be only slightly more of PITA than rebuilding the Kanger single coil units

Might not produce massive clouds, and the airflow isn't adjustable but guess what? It just works.

I've used this thing for about 5 months now all day @ work and at home. On average putting about 2 tanks a day through it.

In that same time period I have tried about 6 other atomizers from top of the line rebuildable tank attys to bottom rung chinese knockoffs.

The one thing they all had in common was that at some point, for whatever reason they would all gurgle or leak. Nothing like trying to take a hit with a serious gurgle going on, not sure when that liquid will fly into your mouth.

The protank 3 mini does not leak or gurgle until it's time to change the coil.

Speaking of coils; the upgraded 1.5ohm kanger dual coils are absolutely PERFECT for these, and a serious upgrade.
