Kanger MINI Protank II Kit

Been using this tank for a few years now. The glass tank and metal parts last a good few months (even 1 year) if you don't drop them too much. My old damaged units still work with a new coil. Easy to clean & replace wicks/coils. Very compact, looks like a thick pen. Easy to carry in a shirt or jacket pocket. Good vape using 1.5 or 1.8 ohm single wick coils & Ego size battery. Even better using dual wick coils, but can't find them anymore. Be careful with the metal mouth piece, you can chip a tooth. Will leak if upside down or horizontal for long period. I try to keep them orientated vertical in a chest pocket or pen holder and won't leak. Good all round vape.

I have used mini protank for 18 months on ego batteries & have not smoked a cigarette in that time. A fantastic "starter" tank.

I use this little baby as my all day unit on a vision spinner 2 VV 1600 MAH battery with a 1.8 ohm coil, max VG juice, 8 MG nicotine , very happy with this set up ,Vapeking is one of the best vape shops around for hardware , Keep up the good work Vapeking :-)

Just wondering this clearo says its a dual coil set up.....the other reviews about the base are accurate and I realize it says comes with protank coils I think I will muck around with this one and see if I can get a better performance from it im still happy with my purchase as it looks great on silver vision spinner.....

Great clearo but doesn't hold a lot of juice

I like these things, they could be a little bit bigger perhaps, generally lasting me a day at work, but on occasion leaving me dry by the end of a shift. I like the "airy" draw, but find that I need to turn up the battery a little more to get a nice cloud, so i guess its a bit of a trade off in terms of battery life. I do find that the coil unscrews itself sometimes when refilling, but its not a huge drama.

Not huge issues when you consider the overall quality and the minimal price.

My favourite clearo to date although I still have a lot to try.

Pros:

•Strong construction
•Looks better with additionally purchased airflow valve (wish Kanger would make a smaller valve though)
•Looks great on silver batteries
•Great vapour production
•Great flavour
•Good coil life (apart from first one see below)
•Glass tank

Cons:

•Stock base looks naff
•Draw with stock base is way too airy
•Not the easiest clearo to thread when refilling
•Included coil burnt out immediately & had strange metallic taste
•Had to do a basic modification to the coil to stop leakage
•coil sometimes comes undone when unscrewing clearo to refill

Note: the cons are all minor gripes compared to how well it performs. If you purchase the airflow valve to improve the draw you'll probably want to get a Vivi Nova beauty ring to minimise the size difference between the battery and the valve on ego batteries.

Great flavour using this setup.
The clear tank design made it easy to refill.
This was the very first setup I used and still have it but use it only when at home.
My only gripe would be the threading of the base onto the tank would be a bit fiddly at times by where it would take several times to screw on and if I tighten the base to the tank a little too much it was a bit of a bugger to unloosen but otherwise a great taste from this unit.

Been using mine for about 3 months, overall my favourite clearo.

I've since got two more for friends, they have been amazed by theirs.

One of these paired with an iTaste VV would be my recommendation to someone starting out who's a bit over whelmed by all the options.
